Oasis , the iconic English rock band, was formed in Manchester in 1991. Led by the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, the band became one of the defining acts of the Britpop genre. Their debut album, Definitely Maybe (1994), was a massive success and became the fastest-selling debut album in British history at the time. They followed this with (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
